Ingredients
- 700 g White Potatoes (Maris Piper)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 tsp Olive Oil Spray (or fry light)
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 200 ยฐC (400 ยฐF).
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into chips (about 1.5 cm thick) with a crinkle cutter or sharp knife.
- Place the cut chips in a colander and rinse under cold running water for 1 minute. This helps to remove any excess starch. Pat dry with paper towels or a tea towel.
- Once the chips are dry, spray them with the fry light, olive oil spray, or coat thoroughly in olive oil. Season with salt.
- Place the chips in the air fryer basket and cook at 200C (400F) for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. Shake every 5 minutes. Season with more salt before serving.
