Ingredients

  • 250g pitted dates
  • 140g mixed seeds (I used a toasted nut mix from Tesco )
  • 80g oats
  • 30g protein powder of choice
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 30g desiccated coconut (for rolling)

Method

  1. Pop your pitted dates into a bowl and add some boiling water so they soften. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, add your oats, seeds, protein powder and cocoa powder and blend. When the dates are softened add your dates with 1-2 tbsp of the water. Blend again.
  3. Roll the mix into balls (this recipe should make 12-14) and roll in some desiccated coconut before popping into a container and putting them in the fridge to set overnight or the freezer for 2-3 hours.
