Ingredients
- 100g butter, softened
- 300g soft light brown sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 250g self-raising flour
- 20g cocoa powder
- Terry’s Chocolate Orange Ball (157g)
Method
- Firstly, grease your slow cooker / crockpot with some butter.
- Sift your flour and cocoa powder into a large bowl, and add 150g of your brown sugar, 4 eggs and 100g melted butter. Mix using whisk until well combined. Add 3-4 tbsp of water to help loosen the consistency.
- Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker and add 100g of Terry’s chocolate orange pieces inside the mixture.
- Melt the remaining 57g of chocolate and mix with the remaining 150g of sugar and 275ml of boiling water in a jug. Pour the chocolate liquid all over the cake, cover the slow cooker with a clean tea towel and place on the lid, then cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4-5 hours.
- You can add more Terry’s Chocolate Orange for decoration. Serve hot (and with ice cream!)
