Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken thighs (boneless and skinless)
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 150 ml Chicken stock
- 5 tablespoons Honey
- 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 Garlic clove (crushed)
- 1 pinch Fine sea salt
- 1 pinch Ground black pepper
- 6 tablespoons Crème fraîche
- 4 tablespoons Cornflour (corn starch)
Method
- Put 1 tbsp Butter in a large pan and once melted, add 1 kg Chicken thighs. Brown on both sides.
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together 150 ml Chicken stock, 5 tbsp Honey, 2 Garlic clove, 4 tbsp Dijon mustard and 1 pinch Sea salt.
- Put the chicken in the slow cooker and pour the honey and mustard sauce over the chicken. Cook on high for 3 hours.
- Once cooked, add 6 tbsp Creme fraiche and carefully stir, so you don't break up the chicken.
- To thicken the sauce, take a ladle of liquid out and put in a cup with 4 tbsp Cornflour (corn starch) and mix well. Add the mixture back to the slow cooker and stir.
- Serve with mashed potatoes.
